Something was off
I spent money on great seats a few years ago after seeing Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! in Omaha and was very excited to see the show again. The show was fine but this time, I cannot put my finger on what was different. The costumes were amazing as always, but there was much less energy and the show seemed to drag. The show was not as engaging this time, and after seeing this version, I would not spend money to see it again. Maybe the KC Music Hall needs renovations and the stage seems small, so was that part of the issue or else the show was adapted in a different way that made it much less enjoyable; it was not the technical difficulty that caused the curtain to suddenly close and the delay before an act had to be redone and the show restarted.

"I've been a fan of Imagine Dragons for years and attended the show with hopes that the performance would match their recordings. I can confidently say that I was not let down. The wonderful energy and delivery were a highlight for me. The acoustic set on the stage, located at the opposite end of the arena, featured songs like Amsterdam and the Tom Petty tribute, I Won't Back Down. A full acoustic show would be a dream to experience. I eagerly anticipate watching Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! once more. Unfortunately, the opener, K. Flay, was a jumbled mess and it was a struggle to comprehend her lyrics. As my friends put it, "Dogs might enjoy her singing."
